Project Architect
(Full Time: 40 hours)
An established 15+ person architecture firm is seeking a Project Design Architect to join the team. The candidate will be required to perform design, production and management duties alongside a firm principal in the areas of Educational, Commercial, Governmental and Building Envelope aspects of the firm. The successful person will work alongside and report to a firm Principal or Principals depending on the types of projects under contract.
Licensing: Must be a Registered Architect (in any State)
Salary: $60,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
Tasks include but not limited to:
Managing the production of design solutions for various projects as assigned.
Working with clients to determine design solutions for various projects from any aspect of the firm.
Preparation of design, permit and bid documents for various projects.
Providing project administration duties for projects that are bidding and under construction. This may include preparation of addenda and conformed sets.
At any time in the studio, firm personnel maybe working on a new elementary school; an addition to a private school; a mixed use residential building; repair of a historic building; security upgrades to various buildings; reroofing of a warehouse; tenant improvements to various commercial spaces; a few residential projects and a myriad of smaller projects. The candidate must have a working knowledge of REVIT.
