The Hoquiam, WA Main Post office is a USPS owned facility built in 1932 of wood construction. This phase of the project has provided complete renovation of the exterior building envelope due to extensive rot and water penetration over the past 20 years. The project includes removal of the exterior gutter systems, exterior cladding, as well as plaster removal and replacement. The interior wall coverings of the building have been renovated as well. This building is a SHPO registered structure and all design applications have been coordinated through the local historical preservation office.
