SPU Tire Shop Roof Replacement & Weights and Measures Building Roof Replacement

The design of these two reroof projects were enacted in order to maintain the building enviroments while occupied. The team was able to design and construct the reroofing project with minimal disruption to the occupants at the Tire Shop Building. Due to COVID-19 the Weights and Measures building was empty during the execution of the work.

The design called for an upgrade to the insulation with a hybrid single ply membrane set over a modified bitumen base sheet for added redundancy. The team anticipates that this roof systems will have a service life of 30 plus years.

Work at the Weights and Measures building included an upgrade and replacement of the HVAC system.
