This 100-year-old Craftsman home underwent a meticulous transformation, preserving its timeless character while integrating modern functionality and energy efficiency. The renovation removed the original partial second floor, replacing it with a new upper level featuring spacious bedrooms and cathedral ceilings that maximize natural light. The laundry was relocated from the basement to the upper floor, improving accessibility and convenience.

On the main level, the layout was opened to create better flow and connectivity throughout the home. A redesigned kitchen now serves as a focal point — tying the lower spaces together and enhancing everyday livability.

Outdoor living was equally prioritized. A large, partially covered front porch offers expansive territorial views of Green Lake, while the reconfigured backyard provides a comfortable space for both entertaining and solitude.

Sustainable systems, including a high-efficiency ductless heating system and ERV fresh air intakes, ensure superior indoor air quality and energy performance. This project exemplifies a harmonious blend of Craftsman heritage and contemporary design — delivering both aesthetic and functional excellence that will endure for generations.
