As part of the ongoing JOC services for the Northshore Senior Center, Cornerstone has provided architectural and building-envelope expertise focused on cladding, exterior enclosure repairs, and aesthetic improvements. Our work addressed localized failures and deterioration impacting durability, moisture control, and overall building longevity, while also enhancing the facility’s visual character through painting, finish updates, and coordinated color improvements.
Services included investigation of existing wall assemblies, identification of envelope deficiencies, development of repair strategies aligned with the facility’s operational constraints, and integration of finish and coating upgrades to restore appearance and protect exterior surfaces. By prioritizing constructability, long-term performance, and occupant experience, Cornerstone supported targeted envelope and aesthetic interventions that protect the structure while maintaining continuity of use for staff and visitors.
