Our team provided a report of preliminary investigation that included multiple roof cuts to verify the existing roof system and mitigate change conditions during construction. For this continuously operating facility a roof overlay was determined to be a prudent and cost-effective solution—including a roof coverboard and an 80 mil heavy-duty membrane with an expected life of 30 years. Additionally, CAG designed replacement of 20,000 sf of translucent skylights and windows to upgrade light transmission into the concourse area.
