Cedar Trails Elementary

 Cedar Trails Elementary was constructed on a once wooded site with wetlands: a historic house and an existing community storm drainage facility. Our team worked closely with the school district and the local building department to design a new school on the steep sloped site.

The steep site required that we design an entry drive that supports both bus and vehicular traffic that avoided impacts to the wetlands and native growth areas.

Working alongside the district, local municipalities and other consultants, our team was able to provide construction documents for this project within six months.

The school was opened in late August of 2021 with approximately 375 students.
