This 1,500-student campus was constructed on an occupied site in three phases. CAG worked with the district to develop plans, projects and budgets for capital improvements and bond issue and updated educational specification for the district. During Pre-design CAG helped the district remove millions from the budget to align construction costs with available funds. Design solutions reinvigorated and reconnected this campus through a variety of strategies: the redesigned front entry now provides a focal point to the community and a clear path to the multi-story Commons and Library; the removal of portables from the main entrance now highlights the permanence of this high school to the community; and circulation from the Library and Commons was simplified to allow easy classroom access in a campus setting.
