This 100-year-old Craftsman home underwent a meticulous transformation, preserving its timeless character while integrating modern functionality and energy efficiency.
· Second Floor Redesign – The original partial second floor was removed. The new upper floor features spacious bedrooms with cathedral ceilings that maximize daylighting. The laundry was relocated from the basement to the upper floor for improved convenience.
· First Floor Modernization – The layout was opened to create a seamless space and improve flow. Modernization of the kitchen was incorporated to enhance the general livability and to tie the lower spaces together acting as focal point.
· Enhanced Indoor-Outdoor Living – A large, partially covered front porch offers expansive territorial views of Green Lake, while the reconfigured backyard provides a functional outdoor living space for entertaining and solitude.
· Sustainable Systems – A high-efficiency ductless heating system, combined with ERV fresh air intakes, ensures superior indoor air quality and energy performance.
This project exemplifies a harmonious blend of Craftsman heritage and contemporary design, delivering both aesthetic and functional excellence.
